Educational Qualification
TGT English
Candidates should have a four-year integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in English with at least 50% marks, or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination, with English studied as a subject in all three years. A B.Ed. or equivalent degree and CTET/STET Paper II qualification are also required.
TGT Science
Candidates should have a four-year integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the prescribed subject combination. For TGT Science, the graduation subjects are Botany, Zoology and Chemistry. B.Ed. or equivalent and CTET/STET Paper II are required.
TGT Maths
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with at least 50% marks and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science or Statistics. A B.Ed. or equivalent degree and CTET/STET Paper II qualification are required.
Carpenter
Candidates should have passed Matriculation and possess a Diploma in Carpentry from a recognized institution such as ITI or Polytechnic.
Electrician
Candidates should have passed Matriculation and possess a Diploma in Electrical course from a recognized institution such as ITI or Polytechnic.

Application Fee
The application fee is ₹500. Candidates can pay through an Account Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of Principal, Sainik School Nagrota, J&K, payable at Nagrota. Alternatively, the fee can be deposited into the school's specified SBI bank account and proof of payment must be attached with the application.
Selection Process
Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process. The selection process is tentatively scheduled during August/September 2026.
