GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 2510 Posts

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has announced recruitment for 2510 Helper posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official OJAS website. The selection process will include a competitive examination along with weightage for relevant apprenticeship experience.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed a Government-recognized ITI course of at least one year duration in any one of the prescribed trades.

Computer Knowledge

Candidates must have basic computer knowledge supported by a certificate or marksheet from a government-recognized institution or university. A Diploma, Degree or Certificate in computer knowledge is also accepted. Candidates having Computer as a subject in 10th or 12th standard can also satisfy this requirement.

Apprenticeship Qualification

Candidates who have completed apprenticeship in the relevant ITI trade and possess a valid NCVT certificate and marksheet will be eligible for additional weightage during the selection process.

Age Limit

The age limit will be calculated as on 6 October 2026.

Minimum Age: 18 Years

For unreserved male candidates, the date of birth should fall between 06/10/1991 and 06/10/2008. Age relaxation will be applicable to eligible reserved categories according to the prescribed rules.

Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online.

Salary

Selected candidates for the GSRTC Helper post will receive ₹21,100/- per month on a fixed basis for 5 years.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of a competitive examination, weightage calculation, merit list and document verification.

Competitive Examination

A 100-mark Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination will be conducted. The examination may be conducted through OMR or CBRT mode as decided by GSRTC.

Weightage

The 10% apprenticeship weightage will be applicable to candidates having apprenticeship in the relevant trade with NCVT certification.

Merit List

A final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the prescribed 100% weightage.

Document Verification

Candidates will be called for document verification in a 1:1.5 ratio, meaning candidates up to 1.5 times the number of available vacancies may be called for verification.

Special Weightage

Eligible widow candidates who have not remarried will receive an additional 5% weightage on examination marks.

Eligible sports candidates participating at National, International, University level or as All India School Federation participants will also receive an additional 5% weightage on examination marks.

How to Apply for GSRTC Helper Recruitment 2026

1. Visit the official OJAS website.
2. Click on the Apply Online option.
3. Select the Helper post.
4. Click on Apply Now to open the application form.
5. Enter all mandatory personal details marked with a red asterisk.
6. Enter the minimum educational qualification details.
7. Enter additional educational qualification details, if applicable.
8. Enter the required computer knowledge details.
9. Read the self-declaration carefully and select Yes to accept the terms.
10. Click on Save.
11. Note down the generated Application Number.
12. Upload the photograph and signature in JPG format.
13. Keep the photograph within the prescribed maximum size of 10 KB.
14. Photo dimensions should be 5 cm height × 3.6 cm width.
15. Signature dimensions should be 2.5 cm height × 7.5 cm width.
16. Click on Confirm Application.
17. Enter the Application Number and Date of Birth.
18. Review the application and make corrections if required.
19. Confirm the application after checking all details.
20. Note down the generated Confirmation Number.
21. Pay the applicable application fee through the online payment gateway using the Confirmation Number and Date of Birth.
